Hi all - I just bought a used 2001 F150 4x4 5.4L V8 with 170,000 miles. It is in really good condition, but the former owner did not keep or transfer any maintenance records.

Can someone please recommend what kind of maintenance I should be scheduling for a truck with this many miles? Thanks!

 

I would change the spark plugs and all fluids - oil, coolant, transmission, axles, and transfer case. You can download the owner's manual and maintenance schedule here:

I don't know if yours is the same, but the Ford dealer here has a $40 package - oil and filter change, tire rotation, and "99 point" inspection. Might be worth it to see where you stand.
