Pics of my rig

Well I've been around on here for about 6 months and have to admit being a member of this forum is both entertaining and expensive. There are so many great lookin trucks on here and I really enjoy seeing what Y'all do to your rigs to make em stand out from the crowd. I've been waiting to do this for a while now and finally figured it out So with out further adieu here is my rig. Please comment and let me know what Y'all think. What ya like and dont like, ideas for new mods I have a general idea where Im going to go with it but I would like to know what others think. Please dont say to take off or cover up the chrome, there is too much money in chrome to start blacking it out lol.

Nice truck! What are your future plans for it?

I think some wider wheels with some negative offset would go good with the fender flares.

Also how do you like those Cooper S/T's?

Thanks Erik. I have a stainless bull bar sitting in my shed. I ordered it back in Dec but between the snow, ice and cold I havent had a chance to to throw it on yet. I would like to go to a 16x8 with a neg offset to fill out the fenders better. Possibly a 3" BL or if I get real lucky a RCX 4-5" suspension. The only problem with that is the wife is only 5'6" and has a hard time getting in it now lol. I want to tint the front windows prolly go 20%. Not too sure after that.

Nice looking truck! Definitely need to go with a wider wheel/tire combo to fill out those flares and a lift would definitely look sweet! And I know you said not to say it, but man is there a lot of chrome on there haha. Some nice chrome wheels would help pull it all together and make it flow better though for sure, except for maybe those tail lights haha.

Oh I love these Coopers. I am not brand specific when it comes to tires or even vehicles for that matter. I buy what I can afford and will get the job done. These Coopers get the job done Buddy. I have put them through snow, ice, mud, rain, deep snow it just keeps truckin. They have outperformed any other tire I've had. They are really quiet on the road considering the aggressiveness of the tread. Awhile back we were getting ready to leave in my wife Escape and had gotten 18" of snow over night. Her Escape slid out into the yard and I ended up pulling her out sideways in 18" of snow the Coopers didnt even slip. Great tires honestly.

Good to know, I like Coopers and have had a few sets in the past. I'm gonna need new tires sometime soon and will probably get the S/T's.

Thanks PizzaMan. Honestly the only thing I put on it that was chrome was the the Aeroskin on the hood. Do you not like the taillight covers? I actually like the chrome on there. I would have put it all on there anyways except maybe the taillight covers. I dont think I would have payed the $80 for them but they do set it apart from other F150's I haven't seen another one with them. I have seen other F150's with waaaay too much chrome. Like what I have plus chrome rocker moldings, rain guards, B-pillars, molding around the doors and pin stripping all at once. To me thats way to excessive. To much of anything is bad in my opinion.

Erik the only negative I have to say about the ST Maxx is that they come in very few sizes. What part of Texas are you from? I myself am from Corpus Christi but currently living in North East PA

Yea those chrome b-pillar stickons look absolutely terrible, I've never seen a truck and thought those look like they fit haha. And idk the tail light covers are cool looking, I think it's mostly just there's too much contrast because it's all black around it. Could also be because I've never been a huge fan of the flareside style tail light, but I'm a bit biased being used to the styleside ones on my truck haha. But (normally I'm against this haha) adding some chrome wheels would definitely help them flow a lot better.

Im going to bite my tongue on the chrome pieces cuz i once had them on my truck, but other than that it looks good.

if you want the wheels to fill out more, some 10" wide wheels would work better than 8".

what flares do you have on it?

Thanks Str8t. The fender flares are Stampede Ruff Ryderz. Thats actually how they're spelled lol. They are the only company that makes a pocket style flare for the 01-03 SuperCrew. I appreciate the comment on the 10" wheels but I am not sure if I can stretch my 285's across a 10" wheel. Which would mean I would have to go to a 315/75 (35") which dont get me wrong I prolly will but I just put these Coopers on in Jan. they have maybe 2,000 miles on em. I knew I couldnt talk the tire comp into putting a 315 on a 7" stock wheel. Hell they gave me crap about putting them 285's on it. So, much further down the line I might go to a 10" and 315's. I also am not really a fan of 20's and 35's I mean it looks alright on some trucks but I would rather stay 16" or maybe 18". I would never drop the 3k on 20's and 35's and go mudding lol. If it was going to be strictly on the road then yeah. Plus living in the salt belt I wouldnt want to run expensive wheels in the winter and cant see buying 2 sets of wheels for the different seasons. I want to get a set of MT Classic or classic 2's or a similar wheel.

Thanks 4X4Wolf I like the flares. Time consuming to put on but once they're on there great.
