Rain Channels

So a few months ago I made a post in regards to the cracking of the clear coat in the rain channels. I know this is a common problem amongst us. I think it has been decided that this issue isn't really that big of a deal. With that said I still found it bothersome knowing that it was there.

Anyways....back towards the end of the summer one of my buddies was Raptor Lining his bed. At the end of his process, he had some left over liner and it dawned on me to Raptor Line my rain channels. I took some emery cloth and did some light scruffing to the rain channels, taped them off, and then covered the cab where necessary to avoid overspray. I think it came out pretty good and so far seems to be holding up really well considering it's been through hot, cold, rain and snow. It also adds some nice lines aesthetically. I need a good wash job, but the pics get the point through.

Thanks for the idea! I will have to try that this week. I noticed mine was cracked this summer and went over it with some red touch up paint. I may have to try this bed liner. I bed lined my rockers and it worked great.

Looks good. Raptor-liner is awesome stuff when prepped properly.
