help!! i want to fix up my 2002 f150

Okay y'all, ive got a 2002 f150 super crew and its pretty much bone stock. I really want an aggressive look but on a budget. I don't need no huge lift or big mud tires(since I drive well over 50 miles a day), but still would like a aggressive off-road look. I considered a leveling kit just so it wouldn't look stock, but wouldn't know what to get. And I really love the tires that stick out a little for that real aggressive look, and more wide tires, but again, I wouldn't know way to get. I've got 265/70/r17 Firestone destinations(brand new) and the stock 17s on them. If there is anyone that could help me budget build my truck I'd preciate greatly!!!! thanks for reading!

Are you 4wd or 2wd?

I would level or small lift with 33x12.50

If it's 4wd just crank the torsion bars.

2wd they have a level kit for it I think.

Since your on a budget crank the torsions if your 4x4 like he said^. Or if your 4x2 you can go with a 2" spacer, those are the two cheapest ways your gonna lift it.

Thanks for the replys guys.
my truck is 4x4 and I have tightened the torsion bars but I still feel like it wasn't enough. it's still a little lower in the front and would still like it a little higher. I do have a little money to spend but I can't go out and buy me a huge expensive 6" lift(as much as I want to!) I don't want to go to high because I still want to keep my brand new tires on it and they are not very big

You can crank the t-bars all the way. Me I would go all the way than back them down a little bit to ease the ride some. Or just keep messing with them till you get it where you like. And you can all ways add a leaf or block in the rear if wanted

If wanted you can get a 4-5 inch lift for 1000. http://roughcountry.com/suspension/4...0_97-03_5.html and a 6 inch for 1300 http://zoneoffroad.com/product?ki=308&gr=-1#no_op

Just don't buy aftermarket keys.

Make sure you get an alignment after you crank those torsion bars! Or you'll be replacing those new 265's you got

Missed the part where you only wanted to level, just saw you talking about a 6" being too high ha.

how much would a body lift run? and its not that it's too high, I'd love to be able to put one on there. the only reason why I can't is because of the tires being smaller, smaller tires and a big lift looks goofy to me. Id like to put a pic on here but don't know how?

3" body lift is in the 2-250 dollar range iirc depending where you get it. It's install thats expensive, it can run you upwards of 600+, that's why it's so much cheaper if you can do it yourself.

And upload it to a site like photobucket and post the link that has the [img] tags around it.

Well since your torsions are already turned up, get some wider wheels and 285 or 305 tires and you'd be surprised how much different your truck will look. Good looking truck by the way, love the color.
