Levelling kit or not!

Not sure if I really want a suspension lift for my ride but was wondering if I should do a levelling lift?

I'd like to go with a little bigger tires and maybe rims as well..
Right now I have 265 75 16
Any thoughts...

Your 4x4 right?

You can crank the stock torsion keys and fit up too a 35" tire on the stock wheels with minor trimming.

If your gonna go aftermarket wheels and ever plan on adding a lift in the future get a wheel with 4.5" backspacing. If you go with a 8" wheel again you can fit around a 35" depending how aggressive it is and around a 33" or so if you go with a 10" wide wheel.

Yeah skip the leveling kit and crank the torsions, that is if you have a 4x4.

Two bolts under each side of your truck. There connected to a long bar, They control the height of the front of your truck. I did this not to long ago, looks so much better!

What would happen if you didn't align the truck

you could possibly have cupping issues on the inside of the tires, or scrubbing on the outside.

Yup definitely don't forget to get it aligned. It'll be easier to crank them if you take the weight off the front end but its not required. What your gonna wanna do is crank up both sides all the way and then lower down the side that's higher till its even with the other side.

I wouldnt max them out... unless you have a ton of rake. I run a 33x12.5 and my torsion bars are only up about 3/4 of the way. I have never had an alignment issue and it's been 3 years or so.

Instead of going all the way up and then backing the high side down just mark and count the turns you make on each bolt. Do the same for the opposing side. You should find that you don't need to crank them all the way up to level the truck.
