What gauges should I use

ok guys. Im tires of not being able to see what my gauges should be telling me. So what im asking is what gauges should I use. I do tow so i want to monitor more than just the engine. Gauge wise I was thinking tranny temp, oil pressure and water temp. If I want more i think im going to do what pat did and do a custom gauge pod in the dash. Tell me what all yall think about which ones i should get. thanks

Get an ELM327 Bluetooth OBDII adapter and use the Torque Pro android app. Then you can play around and see several different types of gauges.

That's why I bought a mount for my phone and put it right next to the A pillar.

This model works with Ford:

Amazon Amazon

For $10, why not?

Electric is a lot easier to install.

Not only that. Who wants oil and fluids running into their cab. Lines break.

Ummmmm...excep for oil pressure, mechanical gauges don't have fluid running to the gauge. And many guys run mechanical gauges; lines breaking isn't exactly a common problem. Electric is easier to install, yes; but the full sweep of a mechanical gauge looks soooo much better. You can get full sweep electric, but now you're getting expensive.
