1997 - 2003 F-150

running a -6 offset with no issues, can I run a +1.00 ?

running a -6 offset with no issues, can I run a +1.00 ?

SHould be fine. but they will look like they are sucked really far into the fender.

You can fit them just fine. They will sit inside the fender just a hair more than your current wheels. An 8.5" wheel with -6 offset and an 8" wheel with 0 offset have the same backspacing of 4.5"

I know this is an old thread but I was looking at some wheels that are the following

16x8.5 with a -6mm offset and 4.5 backsapce. Will they still sit inside fenders on a 2wd ???I dont want something that sticks out...
Factory wheels are the 16x7 with Ford 5 spoke...

The backspacing is still the same, but because they are wider they will stick out 3/4" further than your current setup. I doubt it will be that noticeable however.
