Lol well I get a wild hair everytime and put it up on craigslist to see if someone will bite but I can't handle the low ball offers means to much to me. I want something 4wd but in all honesty if I had a straight axle and a 4bt in my expedition it would be a perfect world! Anyone got 10k?

Back to the headlights, I've got HIDs in mine and I had them in the last set I had and they seem to be about the same plastic as the other ones. So I assume they will be fine. These headlights look fine to me, the little ring is annoying but not enough for me to tear into a set of headlights again. To much of a pain.

Derek, did you niteshade on the outside of the lenses, or on the inside?

Just a matter of 5-6 minutes at ~150* and a flathead screw driver. no time at all really, and I think it was one of the better "small" things I did to the truck, honestly.

Ryan, I masked off the inside of the lens and just tinted the inside of the lip itself, 2 passes.

Our headlights are made of ABS plastic which melts around the 260*F mark. Halogens burn much hotter than HIDs (surface temp) so no matter what headlights you have, they won't melt from HIDs.
