any halo angel eye / spyder headlights owners out there

So lastnight I installed my new spyder HALO LED headlights at a friends house. They look amazing on my truck ( will post photos later ). When I left his house it was dark and all I can say is thank god for my fog lights as I couldn't see a damn thing! They do need to be adjusted a lot because they are projecting very high at the moment that being said I am concerned even with adjustment that they are not that bright. Does anyone have better experience with this , I hope so they look great! I need functionality over looks .

Here are the lights I bought.

You learned the hardway. I have a write-up covering all the headlights for 10th gens. (Here: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...t-options.html).

The halo/one-piece headlights are one of the worst quality lamps out there. They have horrible fitment, cheap quality (LEDs and CCFL died in months), cheesy design (IMO, looks ricer), and the worst output ever. Not to mention yours are smoked. WTF? They are more for "looks" than "performance" Why? Your stock headlight uses this:

55W low beam, 65W high beam 9007 bulb with about 1800 lumens in a free-form reflector.

and those angel eye projectors are using this little thing:

The H3 bulb is an axial-filament auxilary bulb designed for fog lamps and aux lights. It has poor performance when it comes to primary lighting. Combine that with a chinese-made halogen projector with a frosted lens, and you are going to get a little less than 1000 lumens of useable light.

tl;dr- those lights were made for the ricer look. Don't buy them if you actually want to be able to see. A retrofit is the best of both worlds. I'm pushing 5,000 lumens out of my projectors

The headlights that Str8t pointed out are what I have and I love em. They look great and put out plenty of light.

Seems the Revotec's are only for post 07/97 models. What do we pre-8/97 need?

I would highly suggest you swap your header panel so you can get the updated lights. You need special buckets for the headlamps.

Are they plug n play or do you have retrofit them?

The ones he listed are stock, drop-in replacement headlights. If you want HID projectors, thats a whole nother story.
