I post a dirty old rust bucket on here, it has one good side, then a rough side. 02fordfx4 is right, a truck represents its owner.

After new 18" Moto Metal wheels, 265/70/18 BFG Rugged Terrain tires, black headlights, black undercoating, New muffler/exhaust tip. Front 1.5" leveling kit on the way and windows to be tinted soon. The tires are awesome and they don't rub at all even at full lock.

As I bought it...

Removed hood bug shield and side boards, changed to more secure parking spot (a blessing). Added window visors, tonneau cover, larger tires, painted wheel flares black, Cervini hood, Harley Davidson headlights .... among other mods not seen here.

Tinted my windows 20%, installed Stubby antenna. Planning to put an upper strip on the windshield tomorrow (more tint). I am planning to do the Window visors asap as well as UVT Niteshades the taillights and remove the rest of the decals on my tailgate. I have been looking at Westin brush guards. I haven't seen anyone on this site with one but I think they are pretty sweet.

Ummm... I bought some Torreador Red rattle cans at a parts store to fix some stone chips. As soon as I pulled the trigger, the damage was done. I want to either take it back off and have it resprayed at a body shop (probably where I had my hood done), or get another surround... have it painted.. then install.

It looks a little retarded, I know.

Retarded is such a strong word!! Yeh it doesn't quite match. Just so you know I have had good luck with Napa paint shops in the past. They can mix and reduce the paint for you. They sell a spray kit so you can spray it yourself without having to buy a gun. Paint and kit comes to like $16 or something...that was enough for my fender on my last truck. That would be WAY cheaper than a body shop. Just make sure you prep(acetone), paint, and clear properly in a CLOSED, DUST-FREE AREA. I have painted my cars in my garage a few times, no issues except when my "retarded" roommate opened the garage door for some stupid reason...getting dust on fresh clear. Long story short, wetsanding does miracles, but MY GOSH it is a PITA to get dust/bugs out of clear and make it look decent. And to be honest, I am not a fan of the yellow towhooks. I think red would've been much cleaner looking imo. Sorry but I have to be honest

Haha true. I guess making such a key feature on a truck more obvious is commendable...I just think they would look better red.
So, today, I installed new Rancho shocks, front leveling spacers, got an alignment, and worked on adjusting the headlights a little better. When I initially installed them I got the alignment all wrong. Go figure.
I will post new pics of the truck asap.
