When to call the Better Business Bureau. f150 specific products

I have been very patient with a company that is discussed a lot here on the forums and deals with f150 and truck specific products. ( Don't want to give the name of the company not here to drag the name through mud ) I am very frustrated at this point I have sent about 5 emails left a phone message and sent an express mail letter that had to be signed for ( so I know they got it ). And I still cant seam to get results or any response for that matter.

When I sit back and think about it I'm thinking this is just ridiculous I have gone out of my way to contact them and have been very patient with them. My question to you is would it be unreasonable to contact the Better Business Bureau after 5 unreturned emails 1 unreturned phone message and one signed for USPS letter. This has gone on for more than a month.

Again lets please not focus on the company or try to figure out who it is I'm talking about here.

How short of a period of time did you send the emails and call? It could be a small operation and they get swarmed by the amount of messages. I know a handful of business that deal with our trucks like that. It take a lot of constant work, and there's a big chance they just haven't seen your emails yet.

I have tried it all at this point. My question is what constitutes a call to the BBB. Its not something I want to do but things obviously need some improvement and they are obviously not headed in that direction.

Let me put it this way I have searched the net an attempted every possible way to contact this company for some time.

The emails were all about a week apart I purposely sent the emails at times when I thought they had the best chance to be read during normal business hours . I did think that was possible that they were still getting missed that's when I decided to send a letter that required a signature for acceptance and It was signed for on July 2nd.

I would honestly try calling a few more times. Sometimes it's easy to miss a call or vm depending on volume and size of business.

And just because a letter has been signed for doesn't mean it's reached the hands of the person who needs to read it yet.

Te bigger question is "Do they have any of your money"? If so, was it paid for by credit card? If so, have they exceeded the limits for filling an order? Have you considered simply cancelling the order, initiating a charge back, then just moving on with your life?

@ Pizzman The person that the letter was addressed to signed for it .

@SHO Yes I paid already and I am considering requesting a refund from my credit card but you need to know that's much easier said than done. Also unfortunately this service I paid for can only be done by this company .

I am going to give it a little more time I did place the order in mid April if I dont have what I ordered by July 20th I am going to request a refund from them first.

Seems to me that you've been patient and have given the Merchant ample opportunity to respond. Well, that's up to you, but when that time comes, the very best you can do for the community is to post up your experience with this merchant, -revealing who it is, as a preventative from others getting burnt in the future. The BBB is a good start.

I'd give another week with the promise to call the BBB if nothing is done to your specifications.

I'm going thru the same thing with WheelsNext over some rims i ordered. I contacted the BBB (after less attempts then you have made) and also contacted the bank/credit card company. Its your money that you worked hard for, dont let someone take it. I wouldve done involved the BBB by now.

First off........the BBB doesn't DO anything but rate businesses. The are not going to argue your point or threaten them or sue them, period. As far as I am concerned the BBB is worthless.......If you don't get results, either go to the business or send a certified letter and wait 10 days. If no satisfaction, SUE............

Tell us who the company is, so we may not run into the same problems. I got an idea it may be the same punk I was dealing with, but I could be wrong.
