Oil dipstick tube installation

Hi, my oil dipstick tube on my '98 w/ a 5.4 fell off. I have a new one but I was having trouble routing it around the exhaust manifold. Does anyone have any pictures of an installation or a place where I can find instructions? Any help would be much appreciated.

it's crazy to get where you need it, ya just have to be patient and work at. I don't remember if I actually bent mine a tad when I installed it to get it where it needed to be a little easier. If you go that route, just be even more careful.

In the future, continue on the former thread of the same related issue. Makes it easier for everyone to follow!!

No worries.. just a tidbit that benefits everyone. If I remember right... it's been a while... I helped guide the tube from inside the left wheel well. As I said, it's crazy to get it positioned... just have patience. Also, look at your old tube and make dang sure a piece from below the o-rings doesn't happen to be still in the block and that you have the ENTIRE old tube removed. This could make the job a lot more difficult.
