Totaled my 2002 FX4 today...

Well long story short I ran into a huge power line pull today and for the most part I'm sure I totaled the truck. Pic soon to follow. The airbags deployed and I can see a bend in the left frame rail where the bumper mounts up. So I'm sure insurance will total it. I can't remember if I have gap or not, I think I do. If I do not have gap I won't won't be too far into the hole. I had great plans for the truck! I have about 99% of the parts needed for the lightning supercharger swap, lift, big tires and rims, DVD nav, elocker from a 2009+ f150, and a few others. I was going to keep this truck and buy a raptor after my overseas tour in Guam. But now.....

Looks like I will be looking to getting my raptor early!!!*

I am going to work out to see if I can order a 2012 still in race red super crew with all the options! Moonroof, nav, lux pack, front and rear cam, remote start, bed extender, and no man step or graphics. I can't count the times I have built my raptor on the build and price section of ford website haha.

Sorry for the rant. Had to get the frustration put somehow. Will update with pics tomorrow. Also will update when I pull the trigger on a raptor! Till then stay safe where ever you might be and remember its just a truck! It can be replaced, you can't!*

I keep telling my self this so I stop getting mad every two minutes when I think about my pride and joy all ruined in my drive way...

Sorry to hear about the truck. Glad you are ok.

I thought I totaled my 2003 FX4 in Feb, but the insurance co was insistent about fixing it. They replaced the bumper, hood, roof, grille, windshield, and a lot more - the bill to them was a whopping $7500.

Funny thing, I had the truck listed on Craigslist the month prior, and the best offer I got was $7700. I keep wondering if I sold the truck, would I have gotten in the same accident with another vehicle? who knows.

Keep us posted regarding the new Raptor.

Sorry to hear about the truck man. I feel you pain the exact same thing happened to me 2 years ago and I was worried mine was totaled, I even bent the right frame horn slightly. Luckily it wasnt. Best of luck with it and I hope its not totaled and glad that youre ok.

At least you were in a larger vehicle, woulda sucked in a car....kinda why I dont stress about MPGs too much cause if you hit something in a truck you'll probably fare a little better *knock on wood*. Good to hear ur alright

Parn, I don't know buddy, there are A LOT of cars that have better crash ratings than the 10th gen F-150. Go on YouTube and see for yourself. a full-frontal 45mph impact in this truck with a solid wall will mess you UP.

Parts will soon be in the classifieds section. Just have to get all the parts together and figure out how I want to sell them.

mine was way worse (roof was completely caved in, in addition to similar front damage) and insurance fixed it. go figure.

Sorry to see the truck like that. Looks like it was a sweet ride.
