Taillights Not working please help

Were to start My turn and stop lights were not working on my trailer so I spliced them into the wires for my truck stop and turn all was great when completed my tail and marker lights were not working on trailer so I spliced into the wire for my truck and in error touched the wire to something under the truck and now I have no tail lights on my truck. I have checked all fuses under hood and under dash and bulbs are all good front marker or running lights are working. So please if anyone has any ideas please let me know asap please.
Thanks
Tim
Yes the truck is equiped with the towpackage and for some reason everything stoped working except my tail light on trailer when hooked up one issue turned into another.

I would strongly suspect the fuse. I dont know what one it is but it should be on the fuse panel just replace it. I bet that fixes.

Get a ohm-meter and re-check those fuses. Everything screams a fuse being blown from a short

fuses

Instead of testing the fuses I replaced the one under that dash and the one under the hood with new fuses thinking that would fix the problum and still no go. I have had fuses look good and still be bad before I am stumped that is why I am wondering if I fried the main switch. I am going to have the wife pick one up from the salvage yard today if they have one.

Mini Fuses

I can say that I hate the mini fuse.
It turned out to be a mini fuse and the only way to tell it was bad was with a meter.
