I did it myself with my mustang and it still came to close to $500 just for the springs. I doubt the springs are much different/less expensive for an f-150 Bushings and bollts were part of that..

While I was waiting around at the alignment shop I looked up leaf springs and came across SDTruckSprings.com. They have several leafs for F150's and claim the springs are made to meet or exceed OEM specifications and standards. I narrowed it down to two springs one was $88.95 and the other $129.95. Has anyone used their products or have any experience with this company?

Just for kicks I called my local Ford parts dept and they quoted me $450 for one leaf pack.
