New L heads and tails ordered

So today I got tired of waiting and pulled the plug on a pair of L heads and superduty taillights. Hopefully they will be here Friday or Saturday.

I like these because they will add some contrast to all the white on the truck.

Taillights:

Yea man. They're pretty easy to switch out correct. I mean after you pull the surround off the stock ones just un bolt and the new ones bolt right up?

You don't need to remove the surround. There are two tabs to pull to remove the heads. Removing the corners makes it easier to get the heads out.

Before you install, pull off the metal clips around the lens. They will scratch your surround, and I'm sure they don't do anything.

The clips are there to support the lens. Do not take them off. Just spend 5 seconds and be more careful.

Not so sure. I did not remove mine on the original install. When I pulled the lights out to replace the bulbs a week later, I had lost 3 clips, and the rest were loose. I was not forceful either... I just wiggled the lights in.

Alright so I got the tail lights tonight and they look awesome. My question is for the guy who done this is there any way to get the reverse lights to work before I get the pigtail and socket? The help is much appreciated.

I switched my sockets and bulb at the same time so know of no way to use with sockets already in your truck.

You will love the look once done.
