I just test fitted the actual head unit several times with the plastic pieces the kit provided (not the faceplate trim) screwed to it. It was pretty simple - dremel makes it quick and easy work. I'd say it took a little under an hour or so?

Washed, clayed, compounded, waxed, and used Meg's headlight resto kit tonight to fox some roughage on the headlight lenses Results came out pretty good.

This pic was taken before I buffed the headlights one last time.

Thanks jake lol and yeah I can't say I wouldn't have liked the 6" I sold you tho. I need to do something to the stance but up=bigger tires and gas money. And down=different tires at least and preferably bigger wheels lol. Maybe after I get a real job this can become my toy and I'll have a gas saving DD (31 mpg 305-hp mustang V6 is sounding good )

thanks man. the pics of yours actually inspired me to go out and clean mine; I remember when my paint looked like yours :/ but I guess being a daily driver and having no covered garage takes its toll

It was a lot easier than I thought it was gonna be. Basically took the guts from the stock one and put them in this one. And yeah I love it. Only think I don't like is the cruise light kind of bleeds
Over into the gauge next to it. Other than that I love it
