Needin' some lift!

Been looking for a lift now since i got the truck less than a week ago. i decided it rides too low.. it's a 2003 single cab 4x4, 6ft bed and i have cranked the t bars to level it out.
All of the lifts that i have seen are no less than 1300 doll hairs(and i don't have that many dolls). I would be fine with 4 to 5" of lift. My only other option is a body lift, which i don't mind but if there is a cheaper suspension lift that i'm missing out on, i'd rather have it!

Anyone know of some cheaper lifts?!?

Will have pics up tomorrow for sure! Day off

yeah the RC for $999 is the cheapest full susp. lift
but with the t-bars cranked and a body lift you can fit 35's with after rims and not be to much lower then that full susp. lift

single cab with 35's will look sweet. if it were me i would do the RCX. dont forget if you plan on pulling anything heavy you will need front and rear gears. i have 35's with the 5.4 and put in 4.56 gears for my travel trailer. if you dont pull anything heavy you Should be ok for a little while. I pulled my camper with 35's and it did ok around my home, but i would not pull it in the mountains. but i would recomend changing the gears. 4.56's are fun.

the problem is that i have the 4.2 4x4 (the f150 smart car) ha but it does have straight pipes and intake for a little more hp. I do live in Florida so mountains wouldn't be a problem for me. just need to find some cheap wheels and gears later on maybe.

Straight's isn't helping any unless you have a specific tune for it man. If your gonna run 35's you'll definitely want to go to at least 4.56's with the 4.2.

As for cheap wheels just check craigslist every other day or so. All you need is a wheel with 4.5" of backspacing and probably no more than 10" wide. Otherwise check ebay, I got mine off there for around 300 for the set of 4.

If you want cheap, go with some black steelies. I think you can get them for about $80 per wheel.
