welcome to the forum!

a couple cheap things i suggest would be to get rid of the nerf bars, get some XLT mirrors, lightning style headlights, PTM door handles, get a 2/4 or 3/5 drop, or even just some lowering shackles depending on how low you want to go with a nice set of 22's.

unless you want to lift it. then a 7.5" fabtech with some 35's

Not an STX, but just to give you an idea of a reg cab dropped truck (my favorite cab config to be dropped). Here's my old '02 4.2l. The wheels were 18s mainly because I couldn't afford the 20s lol. Don't remember what size the tires were - truck's been outta my hands for 5 years now. Drop was a Belltech 3/4 kit.

Want some inspiration? Bank yer money.

When you get out of school, get a real job, and paid off yer debts, then buy/customize whatever you want.

Doing it now to impress the bubbleheaded skirts at school is just thinking with the other head and throwing money you don't really have to waste, away.

In other words - aspire to be different then yer buddies - aspire to be fiscally responsible.

All 3 have close to the same drop.

Flamed 04: 2" drop springs front, 2" hangers and shackles in rear
'00 middle: upper and lower control arms front, flip kit in rear
'01 all black: 2" drop springs front, 4" shackles with leaf removed in rear

Haha well thanks for the deep inspiration. Haha but the customization is purely for my enjoyment. I bought the truck for a project and owe nothing to anyone lol. My graduation gifts is money for it
