Depends on location too.

Don't let all the nay-sayers tell you it's worthless. They would be saying the same thing if you were asking about a 2010 king ranch. "it's not an ecoboost, take it to the junkyard". LOL

My friend had a V6 XL with an 8 foot bed. 200K on the clock for only $500. He sold it for $750. Reliability was good, but the truck sucked.

97-03 F-150's are on sale everywhere. Keep looking.

the #1 issue is the lack of re-gearing

the #2 issue is the cobled up mess the seller calls a "suspension"

the #3 issue is the 4.2 V-6

Aw come on - #3 isn't that bad - in a stock truck. It serves its purpose and is very reliable.

one problem in this thread though, its not stock. oh well, maybe if it had a 4.6 i would consider it. 6cyls serve their purpose in cars and small trucks better though!

I wouldnt touch it unless it was near free. Mods make the truck worth much less IMO.

The v6 trucks sell, just usually not gear-heads buying them. They are bit harder to sell, and the price needs to be right.

Pics? I'm having a hard time imagining an 8' bed single cab 2wd v6 lifted 10"s on 33's.

Right around a 1000 imo.

modded or not I think it would be about the same. From what I got out of the op was it has a really rusty under carriage (mounts). Also I don't think long beds are desirable to the general market- more geared towards contractors (I like long beds btw and want one one day). Just my thoughts.

If I was in the market for a truck I would consider it if I knew/ could tell it was meticulously taken care of and the seller explained why he went with the mods he did-specific purposes.
