Never buying a Dodge again!

Well as the title states, I bought a Dodge. It all started about a year ago when I sold my 4.6 SingleCab F150 and bought a car. The car I bought was a Dodge (Mitsubishi) Lancer. Great car until 97k Plugs went bad, then the coils and plugs went bad again at 103k, then once more at 122k. At 125 the timing belt jumped a tooth cutting all power to my car. At 128k my MAF exploded while normally driving. Some of y'all may remember my old F150 supercab, some may not for those who don't heres some pictures. Im driving her again !

The SuperCab:

Serves you right! Not only was it badged as a "Dodge", it's powered by a "Mitsubishi"...

I had a 1984 Dodge Dayton Turbo Z way back in the day! Never had any problems with the engine or the turbo... I wrapped it around a tree while being really stupid one night...

Walked away from that one with just a bump on the head and a sore shoulder.. I somehow ended up in the PASSENGER seat when it was all said and done.. Yes, I was NOT wearing a seat belt either!! Very lucky indeed..

Anyway, I hope you have learned your lesson and won't stray to the 'Dark Side' ever again!

Mitch

DON'T remind me. Makes me cry a little everyday. I sold it with 43000 miles, lowered, Intake/TB/Exhaust/Tuned/Locker it was not slow. I loved every second of it. It litterly got to the point I could not afford to drive to school any more. I was spending 30$ a day in gas and commuting 3 hours a day. The memories of nice sound a of V8 roasting tires are drowned out by the rice/tuner annoying sound my Lancer makes.

Yep, I sure do.. Did that back in Dec of 1989.. 26 years old and no fear!

I figure I'll never get that lucky again! I was about 6" away from hitting that tree with the front of the car.. I wouldn't be here now if that had happend, I'm very sure!

Haven't owned a Dodge since!

Haha oh yes. That was like a ricer meet, no one liked my truck there. 4.6 true duals with straight pipes. You pulled up in that Eclipse and when we left you wanted to race from about 50. Your little FWD no horsepower just took off when I just about lost it in the truck.

The mitsu-pos is exactly that.. there is nothing dodge about it.. what you bought was pure jap crap.. dodge used Mitsubishi for some things, Mitsubishi never used dodge..
