I bought a 2008 Superduty tail light harness and cut it in.

 

I can handle the bed, but the 97-03 Flareside and 01-03 Screw taillights are hideous.

I purchased my wire harness from lmc truck. Cheapest i found and good quality

I don't understand why Rock Auto doesn't sell them. My dad can get the harness to convert his Chev K2500 from the 99-02 style taillights to 03-06 style so why no Ford harnesses?

 

As soon as I get the money these lights will be going on and maybe even a superduty tailgate would be even better!

 

If do tailgate, I recommend to get the step also.

Way to go for a couple of senior members to serve as an example of how not to express opinions on a forum. Just because you do not like the Flareside bed or tail lights does not give you the right to insult those of us that do. Besides, nobody asked either of you about what the Flareside bed looks like, the OP asked about the SD tail lights so why don't you both take your unsolicited and unwanted opinion somewhere else. My dad always told me that opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one and they all stink.

 

Sorry 02FORD4X4, though I personally do not care for the styleside trucks (I will not insult them either), I do think that the SD tail lights look better than the stock ones, go for it!

 

If you think our comments are insults, you need to grow some thicker skin. EVERYONE here is entitled to express their opinions ANY way they want unless it's a personal attack. If I think your truck looks like poo, I can say so as long as I don't attack you PERSONALLY.

If I read those comments correctly they were not insulting the owner they were just saying how bad the flaresides look. IMHO they dont look bad at all i would prefer some better looking tailights though. Im not trying to be rude in any way but try and read the posts alittle more thuroughly before you start negative posting negative comments.
