They came and got it today. They SAID the aligned it they replaced the tire painted my wheel flair and replaced the tire with the correct one. I have to go buy another tire but I think its ok. They buffed the scratches in the fender there are still visible slightly but it much better. I'll live with it.

Right, not really unsafe. Thing is, try running that new one on the rear. If you have an LS rear end, running the same size tires, -one new one old, she'll slip from a stop during a 90 degree turn. Bad for the clutch pack. Try it. You'll see what I mean.

Sometimes they do that with a new set, -if the rear gear oil is a little broken. But when they differentiate, it can get bad. -You definitely can feel it slip.

The plan is to get one for now. I'd like to replace them all but I'm coming of one of the worst slumps I've had since I started my business-no money..

I would hit the insurance up for that one. There's enough there to present the reasoning factor. I mean, because of the accident, your forced to purchase 3 to the one, -that they replaced in order to maintain vehicle tire integrity. That could also be considered a safety factor. I have an argument for that as well lol.

It's insurance, you pay them for exactly this type of thing. Unless they can find you the exact tire w/same tread ware, there's only one other way to make it right. You've already paid for that, - IN FULL.

Just sayin..

I did hit them up. I think I got everything they were willing to give up. I should have had a rental from day one and I couldn't get approval until 8 day later. The deal happened on the way to Vegas and all and we needed to get there so I ended up in the old ladys Saturn Ion.
Dont think there's anyway of getting more from them without turning it into a major battle and all.
