steering wheel swap

Hi, i am brand new to this forum. Recently I swapped the steering wheel in my 2001 F150 with one from an 07. I had to make some small modifications but it is installed. There is one problem. The old air bag had only one electrical connection. The new air bag has two places to plug in the wiring. Which one do I use? Or both?

I'd never attempt to hook up an airbag from from a different generation, I'd even be leery within the same generation/family say a navigator/expedition from the same year.

Wow, I'd be REALLY careful about this. PM SSCULLY and see if he can trace the wires for ya.

One wrong move and it's a bloody nose and another steering wheel.
