My first Ford! Just bought it at a good price and I'm here to find out a few things like .... intermittant odometer (sound familiar?), steering wheel is crooked (pitman arm?), leaking gas (what a drag!), how to improve mileage. Thanks to all the contributors who have done the research and posted answers online! BTW standard cab, 6 cylinder, 236000K (147000 miles for you 'southerners') power nothin' (except brakes/steering). Haven't owned a vehicle with crank windows since high school (less to break). Hope I can contribute to the forum. Cheers!

Welcome! What he said about the steering wheel, get the alignment checked. And depending on what maintenence has been done the tie rods, ball joints, pitman arm, idler arm, etc.
Other maintenence could help with mileage too depending on when the last time a tune up was done, if it's all factory it's well overdue to be changed out haha.
