The headers are coming in the kit I bought. I don't remember what brand they are. I seriously cant wait to get this build going! I am thinking about mad's efan kit also. I have to look more into it. Troyer said if I go with efan kit I will have to find another way to mount my inter cooler coolant tank. Do you know anyone or company that makes a bracket that will work with a efan kit?

what IC tank are you using? im using a trick IC tank.

if you go with mikes efan kit, his uses the stock fan shroud. so you can use the stock L IC tank.

Never argue with a fool, - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Sorry buddy, - maybe I can get Patrick to de-clutter.

Good call on the traction bars at the dunes. I experienced wheel hop out there last summer, I definately got out of the gas when I felt it happening. Nice way to snap axles, ring and pinion, etc back there. Plus it looks cool

no, these were made by broncobeater on Lrodder. he sells a complete kit, but i just bought the bars from him made to the specs i wanted. so your price may vary, but i payed $260 including the powder coat.

You don't need to have the truck like in your video all you really need to do is load up the torque converter right before it breaks traction and inch forward. You will see the most axle wrap then.

Come on guys...you're killin me. Most of you have been around long enough to know that you DON'T FEED THE TROLLS! And you guys just keep him going. Not the first time llTOOLj has rambled on like this; so stop feeding him.

Str8...what did you do with the adjustment on the bars? Is it just to get the length correct or do you apply force one direction or the other so that it's either pushing or pulling on the axle so to speak?

I like Flex-a-lite's kit also. Do you know if they retain the stock fan shroud? The price is good IMO too.
