Paint iirc you can even order online for pretty cheap as long as you pull your color code. I picked up black in a spray can to match mine and it worked pretty well.

yes, they come off. it might be easier if you just find a pair that is already painted at a junkyard and sell the chrome ones you have. that way the shop doesnt have to strip the chrome off of it.

how to take them off:

Place the mirror in the down position.
Look in the opening between the mirror and you'll see two tabs
take a screw driver and lift them up and remove the mirror cap (painted piece of mirror).

Got the new grille on and as far as exterior I think I am done. If anything I might put a toolbox but it is going to be one that sits in the bed. Next up is gear change which I'm bout to research on to see what I need to run for the tires I have.
