the chrome covers on the rearviews should pop right off, can someone verify this and give the simplest way to get them off?

Arnt you the guy that said he goes 100mph in a lifted truck every day? And doesn't your truck have flames on it?

Nope not me. My truck wouldent even go 100 mph. It wont go much over 70. (Just a v6 lifted with big tires is alot for that little v6)

Thanks for all the feedback guys, Im gonna snap a few pics of the bug guard on and off and see which way i like it better. Lots of good ideas and suggestions!

I agree. But how would he get one to match his red paint. I went through this issue with mine and ended up plasi dipping (black) the grille surround as i could not find the perfect red to match my paint. And since the surround butts right up to the body any different shade red would be noticeable.

So i just did the black and painted my grille red to get some red in there with all the black ( my bumpers are black to) And it looks really good. Ill have to post some pics if your interested

Hey toolbag. How about you go start your own thread instead of cluttering up this one.

West Tx - You can pull the paint code off your door jamb and the shop can match it for you. Looking forward to seeing those 'chops

You can get paint match from the ford dealer. It should be very close, depending on how old/aged and faded your paint is. But typically, that is the closest you can get without taking it to a professional for a blend. There are also some duplicolor paints you can match by using your door jamb color code. I have tried the black with not so good results.
