Had to pull the axles on an 04 Mercury (G Marquis) a couple weeks ago. After making her whole again, -I didn't want to get the pump dirty, -(hate cleaning it.) Decided to fill it the old fashion way, - cut about a quarter inch of the filler end off and had at it. What a drag, took forever and the bottle looked like a smashed beer when thru.

Made another attempt, but this time I hacked off about half of the filler end. Mannn, that's the trick! It's just as fast as the pump! That was even fun, sort of.

Last bottle, same thing, but I got a little carried away. With all my genius overwhelming me, needing only half of that bottle slipped from mind. :o

BTW- If it's cold, like it was when I did it, let the Black cure for 8 hours or over night if you can. I blottered the HH Perm Black and it didn't seem ripe enough for torque after an hour. I spun the dif bolts down by hand with just the extension and socket. The following morning, it was ready. I think it's a 24 hour "total" cure product. But, at room temp, I've torqued them home after just an hour, in the past. Never a problem.

Look, man. This is a truck forum, not a Prius forum. Man up, quit getting butt-hurt over stuff like this, and learn and participate.

If you act in real life like you do on here, you probably don't go out much and when someone asks you for the time, you start to cry.

Go donate your teddy bear to the nearest good-will, grow a beard or something, and thicken up your skin. It'll do you some good in life.

I speak for everyone when I say that we all appreciate fellow members on here. A forum is not a forum without them. Continue to post and participate, but get your facts straight before you insist you're right, and learn to laugh at your mistakes.

Ive had me feelings hurt just to much here. I dont think there was a time i signed out with out tears running down my face.
Dude its all about having a willingness to learn. I've held in my grubby old hands several differentials both open and limited slip when guys like me correct you you better research the facts before you come back saying I'm wrong. If your still wrong your gonna get railed. Now have I ever posted incorrect information? Sure and I've been corrected and when I was I didnt fight my position just for the sake of being right. There are allot of knowledgeable guys around here and if you post with out knowing your gonna get corrected. When you get corrected dont get your feelings hurt learn from it. Do not come back fighting without KNOWING you are right. Take the time to do some learning..

You know, some people you just can't help. Either they take offense or just don't know what to do with it.

- The OP is already set.

That's a blast. Well, as long as nothing breaks. That can suck. You'll see plenty of crazies over there. Last time I was there a girl broke both legs after being clipped by a buggy coming up from the opposite side. Directional traffic wasn't monitored to well. All you had was that long whip w/flag. May be different now, haven't been there in awhile.

ive been there several times before. they do have directional traffic patterns on some places but you do have to keep aware of your surroundings.
