2wd supercrew leveled
I measured the front end when I had the spacer in (I have it out now because it rode rough and I couldn't find any 2" longer shocks). I don't remember the exact measurements, but from ground-to-fender, the measurements were within 1/4" from each other with the spacer.
could have been the ground you measured on wasent level. But i bet the front is about 1 inch higher after the spacer. If you figure the back is about 1 inch higher stock. You add a 2 inch spacer to the front. Your front will be an inch higher. Thats why i suggest to him he will need a 1'' block or aal in the back to be extremely level. But imo id suggest dont doing anything in the back to have the front sit an inch higher like yours
What id ultimately suggest is to save for something of a higher lift. But thats all up to the lifter on how much they want to go. I just dont see a spacer being worth it.

Every post i make is very informative. I try very hard to post quality unlike the post you just made that hurt my feelings very much. There may have been a mistake on your tires with the wrong size on them. You simply cant fit a 305 size tire on a stock 2wd.
I will continue to make quality posts to try to help others and share my experiences. You will most likely continue to hurt my feelings due to the fact you dont realize that my feelings are very sensitive and just dont care.

Actually it is possible, I wouldn't recommend doing it because they will be stuffed but yea you can throw them under there but you will have some rubbing just like he said he did. And mistake on the size of a tire printed on the sidewall? Not likely. That mistake being made on four tires that he happened to buy? Very very rare.

IMO the 285s will fit proportionately better and, for most tire brands, without rubbing. For a case of slight rubbing, you can add 1/4" wheel spacers to correct your stock rims backspacing. Click on my "garaged" F150 and you will see how the width of a 285 looks with just a leveling kit.
BEFORE a 2" Spacer was added to the front coil springs (w/BL)

------ 3 days pass by ------
AFTER a 2" Spacer was added to the front coil springs (w/BL)

now as the truck sits from center of front fender well to ground is 44.5" from center of rear fender well to ground is 44.3"

from all the pics ive seen and the ones in my area It seems as tho some have more rake than others while some have no rake at all. I guess it comes down to the condition of the leaf springs. So i stand corrected by those who corrected me and im also not all wrong either. But i will stick to not fitting 33's on stock 2wd.

A 285 is the same height and sometimes actually taller than a 305 smart guy! Do your research before jumping into a long debate next time! Using I metric tire calculator I came up with these numbers for you: A 285/75/16 measures out to approximately a 32.8x11.2x16 while a 305/70/16 measures out to 32.8x12x16.
Alright. the whole tire size thing is more complicated than it needs to be but what ever. Your pic is definitely stuffed but i can see that working ok no valance helps to along with the skinny 11.5 width but ok its all good. we can end this and get back to the original thread.
