What should I buy first a programmer or cold air intake system? I have a 1998 f150 with a 5.4 and 4x4.

Do a search for "gotts intake mod", flows just as good and costs only 15-20 bucks. I actualy had enough stuff to do it in my garage. Then take all that money you saved and get your programer. Best mods i ever did to my truck.

I missed the opportunity anyways. So which route should I go? I do have a little money to spend but not much.

 

get an SCT Xcal3, SCT LiveWire, or a PHP Gryphon with at least one custom tune

NEW...I bought a used from a member not with the full specifics (half my fault) and has been a P.I.T.A. to say the least (with no warranties). If you DO buy used... ask all kinds of ? and do your research before purchase. Trust me
