interior lights going out need help

the thing on the roof that tells me temperature and direction went out a few months ago and now the backlight on the temperature controls went out. Are these an easy fix and how do I go about fixing them.

The top one is an easy fix. You need to remove it and resolder a resistor (becareful when you remove it, the resistor might drop out).

The second one just remove the radio bezel and using a T10 (IIRC) take the four screws out and remove/replace the two 194-based bulbs.
