No stock bumper/roll pan is going to line up with fiberglass and look good. the glass will taper up from behind the wheel to almost where the top of the bumper would be, not a good look. Just do the pre-runner rear bumper like you originally planned, but your going to have to custom make them to line up since you have a body lift. And you can keep your tailgate with glass whether you have the stock bumper or not, that plays no part in it.

Also a properly built tube bumper assuming your not doing it out of like schedule 40 tubing will be a lot stronger than a stock one.

As for your choice on glass the bedsides will be perfect, but to give you an idea I have 4" glass on my truck and my wheels tuck under it still, 6" is going to be really wide without actual long travel.

And when you go to order tip of advice is don't get it shipped to your home, get it sent to actual shipping center, I had mine sent to a greyhound shipping place and it saved me like 150 bucks because they didn't have to use a lift gate truck to get it to my house since they come on huge pallets. But still figure around 350+ dollars to get all the glass shipped.

But it won't look right unless he has a wide enough track width. You'd need to be like 4 over plus like 4-5" backspacing wheels to pull it off properly.

If you want to find good ideas for bumpers, hop on over to either race-dezert, dezertdimes, or dezertrangers. Dezertrangers is my favorite site though, just don't post what your planning to do, you won't get a lot of help on there since your not actually doing long travel, and since you have a body lift and want glass your truck would be considered bro to them.

It's considered "bro-fab". Basically a truck lifted really high to the point of not really being good for offroad (aka those people who put 16" on a truck to cruise the malls) or putting body lifting a truck with glass (even if it had long travel it'd really be no good off road because one jump and the body lift would push right through the cab). That site's all about really building purely functional trucks whether its pre-runners, crawlers, or the occasional built right king of the hammers style mud truck. They're not too accepting to other types of trucks unless your stock and planning to build one of those. But it's a great place for ideas, because the work most of them do is exceptional to say the least.

Not saying I feel the same way, I can highly appreciate a tastefully built truck no matter what the intentions are for it. But they're a different mindset of people, kinda like pirate4x4, it's all out offroading or your outta the family kinda thing haha.

Browse through that thread, I'm sure you'll be able to pick up plenty of ideas haha. But my favorite rear design is the dixon bros one on their website.
