ive heard some negative things about that kit from some guys i trust with my life, part of the reason why fabtech doesn't make the kit anymore.

Depends what you try to do with the kit, it's a great street beater, but the moment you actually think it's long travel and try to jump with it, your putting your life in danger. And yea I'm not usually on general chit chat on there, I stick to just reading a lot of the build logs now haha.

As long as you treat it as a lift kit and nothing else you'll be fine, you just gotta know the trucks limitations.

And I'm pretty sure the reason they stopped making it was because it was more considered a mid travel kit and for the price it cost when they first started you could almost do a proper long travel, so it wasn't too cost effective for what it was but now you can pick them up used for under like a grand and new is only a little more than the fabtech 7.5 if you can find them.

Haha I'll start checking it out the general chit chat more often, I used to only hop on there when I was bored in class, but lately I've been getting on there more just because of all the win. Between that site and dezertrangers it's enough entertainment to last days haha. I found a thread on pirate the other day of someone trying to say there dana 30 was so much stronger than a dana 60, that was full win without a doubt.

Ha, I've gotta ask what are you possibly gonna do with a sand rail in mississippi? Why don't you just get a trans and drop that bad boy into your truck instead?

You're going to drop a 900 hp 460 in a sandrail? You do realize how terrible of an idea that is right?

In cali, that'd be like standard because it needs the power to eat through the dunes. In mississippi, well that's a different story it's either gonna end up just pure win or someones gonna die haha.
