Theres also the option of wheel spacers. Ive got 1.5'' spacers and they are great. I know some dont think highly of spacers but i like mine. if you do any serious off roading id suggest to do it the best way possible. In this case it would be to get the appropriate rims with the width and backspacing that you need

So the pre-runner look is out, saw a truck today in my city and it looked okay, but after some of the comments I heard from other people and the guy that got out of it, I'm going to pass. my listed has been edited and I'm going to save some cheese and do this, and since I'm fixing to start riding the trails on my bike again, i figured i might as well do some stuff to help me with that invader.

I'm kinda sad that this look didn't work out like I planed,

but hell I'm sure I'll change my mind as im freezing my A$$ off at my fireworks tent.

Let me know what y'all think about the Matte black Look or the High gloss Look

So are you looking for more of a black/machined type of wheel or polished?

Ah I still have those same bedsides sitting in my bedroom^. I can't wait till I can finally have enough time and courage to cut my old ones off and stick those on.

I LOVE THE LOOK. I just dont like the negative feed back. and i agree with Pizza thats another thing im worried about is cutting the stock bed sides off and i not like it. im going to do some real hard thinking about what i wanna do over the next 3 weeks before i toss the cash out on the table. and im not a real big fan of the plain wheels, they all look like they are missing the hub cap to me JMO

I mean I'm not too worried about it because you can't really mess it up your cutting the whole thing off, the courage thing is for when my mom pulls down the driveway and sees what I'm doing haha.

And I wouldn't worry too much about negative feedback, it's your truck do what you want not what's going to impress other people. A tastefully done truck that you love to other people who may not like it is kinda like the mona lisa, they may not like it at first but they're not gonna wanna stop looking either.

Or do you think i can get away with using the stock bumper?

id like to have that extra protection for when jo blow is taking on his phone and not looking.

this is who im going to order from. http://www.mcneilracinginc.com/off-r...97-2003-f-150/

6" low cut and the 3 " bed sides

IMO, the factory bumper might look out of place. Screw the tailgate, go with a tiregate!
