sucking sound under hood

My 97 5.4 runs rough and i'm hearing something like a sucking sound under the hood. I'm wondering if i may have a faulty injector seal. Since i know nothing about injectors or what this may be, i thought i'd ask you guys for ideas. Thanks

Could be a vacuum leak. Check your hoses

my check engine light is flashing. I haven't had a chance to plug into it and pull the codes yet. Will look for the leak

if its a small vacuum leak you can use something like carb cleaner (flamable) and spray around the area. When it hits the vacuum leak the idle should pick up a little because of the extra combustibles that got sucked into the engine.
