HD valence or.......

Thanks 2Low, I know what you mean, I have been looking for either an HD or STX lower valence to replace that ugly plain gray one on my Sport for awhile. I can't understand why Ford would produce a monochrome (In my case Black) vehicle and stick a non-matching valence on it?

My apologies, I know I am resurrecting an old thread, but I finally got the valance painted and installed:
The valance was damaged in shipment, I had to keep it in the original shipped state with the original packaging and after 5 appeals to UPS they never did pay, so I said screw it and had it painted and then installed it last week.

It is not your fault that UPS can't ship items without screwing them up, but I think it is **** poor that they won't stand behind their service and MAN UP, when they do screw up!
The truck is a Sport so it is Monochrome Black except for the stock front valance (Grey), when I got the truck, I kept wondering why in the world did Ford ever sell a truck with everything body color except the valance, it just looked so out of place. It bugged the crap out of me and I was looking for an HD or STX valance when Coobies posted this thread. Like Coobies said, it was meant to be!
Thanks DenoFL, I got lucky, the hood was already on the truck when I bought it, actually it was the feature that drew my attention to the truck in the first place.
