it's hard to describe it, i'd say it looks like a really fine sandpaper appearance, but it depends on how thick or thin it's applied.

here are some close ups on plasti dip with my wheels.






its sort of like a rough powder coat finish

Thanks 2Low, I know what you mean, I have been looking for either an HD or STX lower valence to replace that ugly plain gray one on my Sport for awhile. I can't understand why Ford would produce a monochrome (In my case Black) vehicle and stick a non-matching valence on it? See what I mean:



Lucky coincidence that the one I got from Coobies is already painted Black, I will probably get it re-painted just to spruce it up before I instal it.

yeah, i just remebered GM ones arent going to work on your truck. duh!

what do you need tow hooks for anyway? do you just want them to take up the hole in the valence?

yeah, get rid of the empty space, and tow hooks come in handy when you least expect it.
