seat swap
seat swap
I have a 60/40 seat in my truck now and i want to go to two bucket seats with a center console, i have read on here that the seats will bolt right up, but i was wondering about the center console if the holes are just under the carpet and its easy to put a stock on in, or am i going to have to drill new holes and in that case ill prob just make my own box. if anyone has done this or has made there own custom box id love to see some pics for ideas.
thanks
thanks
front or rear?
I have factory swapped buckets up front with factory console (holes were already there, just needed to be tapped)
and custom swapped rear buckets, with my own rear sub box/console (no brackets/holes)

If you don't have it, it has the holes bored out, but not tapped. In my case (60/40 vinyl bench to Lariat Capt Chairs w/ center console) I had to slice open the rubber floor and tap the holes for thread.
im looking for the front seats.

yah fronts are easy swap.
My holes were there, needed to be tapped, I just used my 3/8" Makita cordless impact and just rammed them in without tapping the holes. The factory bolt is a taper design that cuts threads as it is installed. Factory assembly line does the exact same thing.
