2000 f150 4.2
Hi all... need some help. I have a 2000 F150 4.2 that 's giving me problems. I recently moved from New Orleans to Houston. I drove the vehicle very sparingly. When we got to TX i took it off the trailer and placed it in the driveway. I started it twice in the last 5 months. I tried starting it last week, it would only turn over after charging the batteries. Tried starter fluid, it ran until fluid ran out.
Replaced.
O2 Sensors
spark Plugs
Coil & Wires.
Checked all the fuses, relays and inertia switch.
I can hear a little click when the ignition is turned on but can't really hear the pump priming. On all my other cars i can hear the pump prime.
Would the fuel pump go without warning? Fuel filter never changed.
I removed the cap from the Shreider on the rail and get a little gas when idle.
Any suggestions?
Thanks In advance for the help.

Could be water separation in the fuel since it has sat for so long, most likely with the same fuel correct?. Filters should be changed every 15k so get that changed. While you have it off, point the fuel line into a bucket and have someone put the key in the on position. Pump should prime every time. If it is not priming.. all fuses are good, no corroded wires.. then the pump may have failed. Never hurts to bang on the bottom center of the fuel tank with a rubber mallet.. might bring the pump back to life for a bit
