97 f150 electrical issues

Does the 97 f150 have a fusible link anywhere before the distribution box or junction box? I know the manual calls the 40amp fuses inside the distribution box a fusible link. I am wondering if there is one outside of the boxes some where? Thanks!

Follow the positive lead off the battery.
If it goes to the fire wall there may be a 175 amp mega fuse at that location.

The 97 will have two 175A mega fuses. One is for the alternator circuit, the other is for the main power distribution to the whole vehicle.

To the best of my recollection, the 97 does not use any fusible links.
