Lowering advice needed.

Okay, so iam wanting to run 22s or maybe even 24s on my 03. I want to have it sitting down nice but dont want to end up rubbing. Also i dont realy want to go any smaller than a 40 series tire. Well hope you guys can give me a hand, maybe even some pics. would like to see what others have done.

I am in the process of getting better springs, Shocks while going lower. I run 20 inch rims and will be getting 265/50/20 with a 4/6 drop. Watch your wheel backspacing or it will hose you in the front. A 275/40/22 would put you at 30.66 tall 10.82 wide. Your stock heigth was about 30 inches tall. A set up like this would help keep you from having to regear. Everything will depend on your rims...IE offest and width. I think 20's will be cheaper and give you more versitility in width and heigth, but that is my personal preference. Remember the lower the profile of tire the rougher the ride.

anything over a 22 would be horrible. ride would suck, and im sure you would be bending rims more then you want. I would stick with a 22 at most, with nothing past the specs of the stock tire size on our gen HD trucks. Dont know the size off hand.
