Pulling Carpet out on a 2000 F-150
Unbolt everything like the seats, take off any trim pieces that cover the edges of it, slip any wires that go over it back through it, and then it all should just pull up as one piece.

If you're replacing it with a new set at some point DON'T throw away the old one. I did that on my mustang (without reading the directions), and it makes it MUCH more of a pain in the butt to get it fitted.

How do i pull out the trim pieces?
If your talking about the part you step on when you get in, get all the pieces off that may be above it, then just get a good grip under it at one end and pull up. It just clips in place.
