I wired mine the same way, to the running lights, so when i turn those on the cab lights come on too. Drilling into the cab did make me pucker the first time, but get easier every time, and is definitely worth it! I made sure to sillicone the holes and for extra protection i used a left over strip of dynamat to flatten all the wires as much as possible against the cab. Ive had them on for almost a year and they are still going strong!

Sweet truck man! I love the looks of the cab lights. I think I am gonna order the smoke dodge lights. Saw them in another thread and I liked the lower profile look they have. Cant wait to get them installed, not looking forward to putting all those holes in the roof though! I am going to also have to figure out how to re-wire my mirrors so that the lights on them function with the markers instead of the turns.

For those of you who have these lights- do you have them strung according to DOT specs (3 in the middle grouped close, and one on the outer edge) or just even spaced?

I didnt space mine according to specs, but yes i did group the three middle lights closer together. The outside lights are tight against those roof gutters or whatever you wanna call them.
