seats

I have a 1998 standard cab with two bucket seats and a center console. I am looking to put in a 60/40 bench seat. I want to know if the bench seat will bolt right up to the truck or will i have to put in new bolt holes. Thank you

All the holes are there, you might have to fish for them through the carpet though, and they may or may not need to be tapped.

right, the holes are already in the floor, just need to trim the carpet away and bolt the seats in.

They are presized so you dont even need to tap them, just run the bolt right in it

I hope you don't mind me asking the same question in reverse, I have a 99 with the 60/40s and would like to switch for captains, would their bolt holes be there too? I'd like to know for when I ever find any seats.

I did this and the holes were there under the carpet. I didn't see any holes for the center console but mine was custom so they wouldn't have lined up anyhow.

Sounds kind of like my idea, I plan on making my own center console too I was just asking about the holes for the seats. Do you know if it makes a difference between SuperCab or SuperCrew in terms of the rear seat? I have the SuperCab...

I switched from a bench to buckets to a 60/40. At the very worse you will have to tap two holes where the center console is which is pretty easy. If you have a center console I believe they are already tapped though.
