Efan wiring- A/C & ignition help

I'm relocating the wiring on my efans. Previously I had a 22AWG wire running from the controller, up the pax fender, over the firewall, and snaking down to the A/C compressor and tapped in there (how lame). Plus for the ignition source I had that going the same route- up pax fender, over the firewall, through the firewall, up the drivers steering column, and tapping into the radio ignition.

So i ripped all that wiring out. I'm hoping someone can tell me which colors will give me a A/C clutch ignition source and a key-on ignition source in that big jumble of wires next to the starter solenoid.

thanks,

-Alex

AC clutch is a gray w/ white stripe wire in a 16 pin connector, mounted behind the metal bracket shown in the pic below ... (the connector mounts to the two white pins sticking through the metal bracket on the right side of the pic)

Can't help you on the switched power ...

Thanks fairlaner. I thought I saw a pic like that somewhere. Your thread never came up in the search.

I'll probably end up putting the switched back where it was. I spent the last 9 hours cleaning my engine bay (wiring wise). 20' of wire loom to bundle both efans, HID harness, both fog lamps, and my new upcoming project.

What he said^! I tapped into the wires at or under the fuse box. Can't remember how exactly, my bro did it, but I don't think he spliced any wires, just did it as they are in the fuse box already. There we ran a wire to an unused spot for key on 12v source, with a slide connector too. I'd check but that stupid tropical storm is dumping rain on me!

haha tropical storm in Canada...Seems like such a contradiction! For the 12v key on source I used the vacuum switch on the firewall (driver side). FLX-270 kit 5 yrs and still running great. As for the a/c I too did it the ghetto way and spliced the connector @ the compressor :/.

Bump. Fairlaner's picture does not apply to the 1998 MY truck. We have a black with yellow wire (pinout #42) for the A/C clutch. I tapped into it here:

Thanks again, Patrick for the pinout diagram. I got all my wires hidden now.
