i have a 2wd and have a 3"bl and 3.5" spindles and a 2" block on the rear end.
So whats the biggest tire and widest width rims i could run with out much rubbin or problems.
And if i get a good deal on some that are a little bit too big. im gunna get me some 2" coil spring spacers and a 2" rear lift leaf shackle.

Go with a wheel no more than 9" wide and with about 4.5" of backspacing. As for tire's nothing bigger than a 35x12.50. Even with an extra 2" under there from a coil spring spacer chance's are you'll do some big rubbing with 37's. It take's about 10" of lift at least to properly run 37's on our body style 2wd.
I ran a 3" BL, 3.5" spindles, and a 1.5" coil spacer at one time with 35's. I was running a 10" wide wheel and had to do some major trimming inside the fender wells. With an 8" wide wheel you should be pretty good though.
Give us some more info on your truck. 2wd or 4wd? Stock or lifted?
