What a DAY, what a DAY... thats all i can say..

Well let me tell yall my story before getting to the point...
i only have two keys for my truclk and my buddy got the spare key out to unlock my truck nthe other day and left it inside the cuo holder. and me and my buddy went fishin yesterday got tothe lake put the boat in.. and it hada hole in it.. so we look in the tool box to see what we have to fix it.. and all we have is tire plugs.. so we put 6 tire plugs and two tubes or rubber cement in a fiberglass boat... ya...... were genuies!
So we went to go back to the truck to get something... and the doors locked with both keys in the truck.... so we got a idea to get inside.... this was our plan.. unbolt the hood to get it up... take the front driver side fender body panel off to get to the door hinges... unbolted the door hinges... and the little black support bar was still connected... so we tryed to get the key out the ignitiin with my whip anttanee. and droped them on the floor.. so we ended up having to use the whip anttanee to pull the door handle and unlcok the door like that. And just using the whip to hit the unlock bottom wont work ive tried that many times before...

Sooo thats my story.. and the question is... IF that happens again is there a easier way to get inside with out doing all that or callin a lock smith. or bustin a window or anything??
Thanks guys. no smart A answers...

Hahahahahahaha this made my day! Put a hide a key box under your bed rail or under your toolbox. That's what I did

Hide a key. I have one stashed. Use a regular key one without the theft deal. just to open the door. I locked my key in the truck at a car wash once. Drag.

Coat hanger from the top dead center of the door with a strong screwdriver or something to hold the top of the door open a tad. Then get the hanger down to the door handle and pull it up hard. I have done this about 5 time snow, takes me like 20 seconds to get into my truck, sometimes quicker.

Put your key on one of those retractable key-back dohickies that attaches to your belt, then you would have to leave your pants in the truck too.

Sorry man I couldn't resist. The hide a key is the best with a non chip key. I lock my keys in my truck on purpose when I go backpacking and use the hide a key when I return.

Go to a locksmith and have a plastic key cut. It looks like a credit card with a key cut in the middle of it. Leave it in your wallet.

I keep a spare key in my wallet at all times, and I have a hide a key as well.

Get a keyless entry pad. But, you'll have to remember your code!

Wow. Thats a lot of work!!!

6" strip of duct tape, and a non-chipped key. Apply key to tape, apply tape to inside of frame/spare tire/etc

i used my uncles lock out set to get into my sisters escape that she locked the keys in, first time i have done that. it was pretty exciting and all i can say is gone in 60 minutes is more like it haha

i realize in this case it probably wouldnt have helped (unless you had it in your tool box) but having a set like this will get you in anything
