Found this grille on ebay and haven't ever seen another perimeter grille for sale for our style trucks. Looking for one for my expedition in black. I like this grille a lot, emailed them and they wanted 300 or so with the grille surround. Wondering if you guys have found anything similar, FUEL offroad wants 530 for their perimeter grille custom made. Want something similar along those lines. Thanks

 

Dang that looks sweet, but the price tag is over the top.

 

I bet you could have a shop cut SS mesh and a surround to fit for half of that. The mesh doesn't have to fit exactly but if you could get a polished aluminum sheet, the right dimensions and have it cut. If it don't fit perfect use a sander to round the edges or what not. Get a good fit, rivet it to the mess and make a few brackets. Sounds easy eh..

 

i've actually looked into doing this, and using stainless was around $250 in material lets alone labor..

 

Whoa... Didn't know SS was up that high. Been a few years since I have bought some.
