Drivers window motor issue
Drivers window motor issue
This one is strange.. My drivers window is electric with switch having capability of one touch all the way down. However once the outside temp is above 65 degrees it will not roll down in cold weather it works. I will say motor is a little sluiggish. Is this a motor issue or perhaps a connection issue with one of the wires? All other windows are great but drivers window not working is a hassle and I can replace motor easy enough but if that is not the issue I'm stumped. Plus I'd be pissed if I later found out it was a faulty switch or wiring issue. Thx.
Anyone close by to you got a matching switch (got a buddy with an f150/expy)... Try switching them out first when the motor "wont work." If that doesnt cure the problem, check the wiring at the motor with a multi-meter when the problem is occuring. If you are getting power to the motor, but it isnt working, obviously it is the motor, if no electric, then its in the wiring.
Good luck!
